Nissan & GPC Accelerating DC Fast Charging in Key Markets

GPC is partnering with Nissan and leading real estate and parking interests to expand 30-minute, fast-charging offerings for electric vehicles in key US markets. Nissan is offering significant funding and hardware to GPC members able to commit to an accelerated installation schedule.

Fast-charger availability expands electric vehicle driving range, boosts driver range confidence, and improves the EV driving experience. With over 40 new electric vehicles entering the consumer marketplace , Nissan’s support means North America’s commercial property owners and parking operators can now easily offer next-generation premium EV charging services for city dwellers and workers who desire convenient parking and fast charging.

Slides about the project are immediately below; scroll down for a recording of web call about the project.  For more information, please contact Dan Ciarcia at the Green Parking Council.

The nationwide program will focus on daily parking, valet operations, malls and airports in thirteen leading markets: Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Dallas-Ft. Worth, Houston, Los Angeles, Miami-Ft. Lauderdale, New York, Philadelphia, San Diego, San Fran.-Oakland-San Jose, Seattle-Tacoma and Washington, DC.

I use to owe the Autotech Nissan in Manhattan. Glad to see Nissan being the leader in this market. I also owe and operate 68 parking garages in Manhattan and I am working to have 2 charging stations in each garage and would like to work with you on getting it done.

Thank you

Gordon
